The Refillable Compact in White is the reusable case jane iredale's pressed powder refills are designed to live in, so you replace the pan instead of the whole product. The shell is durable aluminum with a secure magnetic closure that keeps powder protected in a bag, and it opens to reveal a generous interior mirror. It accepts PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation Refill, PureBronze Matte and Shimmer Bronzer Refills, PureMatte Finish Powder and Beyond Matte refills. To load it, press the refill into the compact; to swap the pan out, insert a pin into the small hole on the underside and the refill pops free. It is the intended home for the PurePressed Base refills sold alongside it.
