Purifying Charcoal is the deep-cleansing member of the Hydrojelly family, described by Esthemax as an ultra-purifying mask that pulls oil and micro-particles from makeup and airborne pollution out of the skin. Charcoal does the heavy lifting on toxins, dirt and debris, with lecithin dissolving pore-clogging impurities and tea tree and peppermint oils rounding out the blend. It is aimed at acne, blackheads, oiliness and congested pores, and also at blemish-related concerns such as redness, scarring, razor burn and ingrown hairs. Mix roughly one and a half scoops of powder with one scoop of water, spread it over the face and neck, and peel it off after 15 to 20 minutes once it has set.
