A Journey of Healing and Mastery in Traditional Chinese Medicine
Dr. Joshua Jimenez, LAc, brings a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern expertise to his practice, offering a personalized approach to health and wellness. Originally from the Southwest, his transformative journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began in 2003 after a broken arm was miraculously healed in just two weeks by the esteemed Dr. Huang Pao Chin. This pivotal experience sparked a lifelong passion for TCM and a student-mentor relationship with Dr. Pao Chin that continues to this day.
Dr. Jimenez formalized his education at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, earning his degree in 2018. During his training, he studied under renowned teachers, including Dr. LiLu, who imparted the art of Tuina—a Chinese massage technique emphasizing spinal manipulation and proximal focus. He also gained expertise in trigger points, dry needling, and wet needling with procaine and saline under the guidance of Michael Young.
Joshua Jimenez is recognized as a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado and holds the prestigious title of Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). His dedication to the art of healing has been acknowledged by Master Shi Yanjun of the Shaolin Temple in Kunming, Yunnan, China, and he has received commendations from the International Shaolin Wushu Federation and the International Meihua Quan Federation for his contributions to Traditional Chinese Medicine education.

ACCUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical practice that involves inserting fine needles into specific points on the body to promote healing and restore balance. It is based on the concept of energy flow, or "Qi," and aims to stimulate the body's natural healing processes by targeting pathways called meridians. Acupuncture is widely used to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation, making it beneficial for conditions like chronic pain, headaches, and stress. Many patients experience relief from symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, and digestive issues as well. Treatments are typically gentle, with minimal discomfort, and are customized to address each individual's unique needs. Acupuncture is often integrated into holistic wellness plans to enhance both physical and mental well-being.
